Dangerous Goods
Goods are considered dangerous when they pose a risk to humans or the environment. It then meets various classification criteria. It can be a material, an object, a solution, a mixture, a preparation or a waste. All dangerous goods for transport are either mentioned by name or covered by generic headings.
The international regulations relating to the International Transport of Dangerous Goods are revised every year (IATA) or more generally every two years.
National amendments complement these international rules.
